Where "Rats Get Fat" honours tradition, "Fill in the Gaps" (@fitg_podcast) is like an artist jam session. This podcast mixes it up with tattooists and people from every corner of the craft, giving listeners a front-row seat to their creative journeys, fun facts and life anecdotes, and heartfelt moments. No pretentiousness here, just real talk and plenty of laughs.
Podcast host and creator, Egg is a tattoo collector, who has been getting tattooed since the age of 16. His passion for journalism and love of tattoo was a natural catalyst for the creation of a podcast series asking the artists to “fill in the gaps” of their loves and environment beyond what we see on the socials.
The aim of Fill in the Gaps is to build a happy, safe and fun community within the body art industry. Whether it’s collectors, artists or anyone in between, everyone deserves to have their story heard, and not just be judged by the art work they create or wear, but rather let the body art contribute to their story.
